John R. Nelson
John R. Nelson is a recognized employee benefits expert.
He is a member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the State
Bar of California, the Western Pension Conference, and the
ESOP Association, the national trade association of ESOP companies
and professionals. He has written numerous articles and lectured
extensively on Section 401(k) cash or deferred plans, employee
stock ownership plans, and investments. He has taught courses
in pension plan fundamentals and administration through the
American Society of Pension Actuaries and has been a member
of the adjunct faculty of Golden Gate University.
Mr. Nelson is in private practice in Santa Barbara, California.
From July 1993 to December 1996, he was Executive Vice President
and a shareholder with Investors Retirement & Management
Corp. (IRM) in Carpinteria, California. While at IRM, Mr.
Nelson helped to develop and market the firm's "bundled" package
of 401(k) plan services and investment products.
Prior to joining IRM, Mr. Nelson was a partner with the Santa
Barbara law firm of Mullen & Henzell, where he specialized
in helping employers set up and administer qualified and non-qualified
retirement plans and other employee benefit programs. Mr.
Nelson was also formerly associated with the national law
firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Los Angeles,
California.
Mr. Nelson graduated in 1980 from Loyola Law School in Los
Angeles, where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review. He
holds a Series 6 and 63 securities license with the NASD and
is licensed with the California Department of Insurance.

Elizabeth
A. Mikkelson
Ms. Mikkelson specializes in employee benefit plan administration,
including all aspects of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code
compliance. She received her paralegal certificate from
the University of California at Santa Barbara. Ms. Mikkelson
is a member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association,
the Legal Assistants Association of Santa Barbara, the Western
Pension and Benefits Conference, the National Institute
of Pension Administrators, Los Angeles Chapter, and the
Santa Barbara Human Resources Association.
From July 1993 to October 1996, she was with Investors Retirement
& Management Corp. (IRM) in Carpinteria, California.
While at IRM, Ms. Mikkelson was responsible for managing
all aspects of converting and installing new and takeover
plans and for overseeing and managing the ongoing operation
of those plans after conversion. Her responsibilities included
preparing and implementing "time-lines" for setting
up and converting plans, meeting with payroll and human
resources personnel to set up data collection and transmission
procedures, coordinating with trustees procedures for receiving
contribution payments and processing termination pay-outs,
participant loans and other withdrawals, preparing manuals
of forms and procedures, and conducting employee enrollment
meetings.
Prior to joining IRM, Ms. Mikkelson was a legal assistant
with the Santa Barbara law firm of Mullen & Henzell,
where she specialized in helping employers administer qualified
and non-qualified retirement plans and other employee benefit
programs.

M. Anfinsen
Coral
M. Anfinsen joined JRN Benefits in 2003 bringing with her
3 years of experience in marketing, accounting and management.
She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara
with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. She is currently
pursuing the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and the
Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designations with the
American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries
(ASPPA).
Coral currently holds the position of Plan Administrator.
Her specialty is with 401(k) plan administration including
daily valuation. Her responsibilities include: Conducting
compliance testing such as 401(a)(4) non-discrimination, 410(b)
ratio percentage, 415 annual additions, Form 5500 preparation,
and offering consulting support to plan sponsors.

Krista
K. Jensen
Krista
Jensen holds the position of Plan Consultant. Her responsibilities
include several functions within JRN Benefits, Inc. She provides
support with plan administration, assists with compliance
and helps with new plan installations and conversions. In
addition, Krista directs the firm's marketing strategies.
Krista
has prior experience with non qualified defined benefit and
defined contribution retirement plans. She worked as Director
of Client Services for Benmark, Inc. As Director of Client
Services, Krista managed the implementation of benefit programs
and served as an integral part in processing new business
for clients. Krista graduated with honors from the University
of Colorado with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business
Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business
Management. Krista is experienced at working in a fast paced
environment and is an enthusiastic team member. She is currently
pursuing her Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation
and Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designation with the
American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries
(ASPPA).

Debra L. Stowers
Debra Stowers is the Participant Services Consultant. She assists plan participants with their retirement planning needs. In addition, she conducts participant education and enrollment meetings and specializes in the IRA rollover market.
Debra holds a Series 7, Series 6 and 63 securities license and is licensed with the California Department of Insurance. Debra has 15 plus years experience as an investment consultant in the brokerage business, working with clients nationwide concerning their investment needs specific to retirement. Debra has a ‘Passion for Helping People’.

Pearl
Lee is an Assistant Plan Administrator. Her responsibilities
include: Processing participant loans and benefit distributions,
preparing annual valuation reports; and supporting senior
plan administrators. In 2004, Pearl graduated from the University
of California at Santa Barbara, receiving her Bachelor of
Arts in Global Studies. Prior to joining JRN Benefits, Inc.,
she worked for Mentor Corporation.
Pearl
is currently pursuing the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA)
and the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designations
with the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries
(ASPPA).
